1)      Please provide the most interesting example of technical / smart textiles that you have.

 Name of product: ESD Protective equipment

Technical characteristics:

Knitted in bi-layer  with following yarn configuration:

  • Base yarn: 100% cotton 50/3 Nm or 100% wool Nm 30/2
  • Conductive yarns, as follows:

▪ For inner layer: carbon coated polyester Nm 34/1.

▪ For outer layer:

- Bi-component multifilament yarn core-sheath structure or

- Multifilament yarn made from surface saturated nylon with carbon particles.

 

Protection charactersitics:

  • Conductive yarn percent: 4-7.5 %.
  • Discharge time: 22-90 ms.
  • Resistivity: < 9.5x1011 Ω.

 2)      How did you promote or put your product on the market?

Participation to fairs, performing of leaflets, direct promotion with clients.

 3)      What requirements do you customers most request? (EC Certifications, washing etc.)

Aligning to functionality tendencies on European level, respecting Oekotex requirements, so that textile products should not have influence upon the human’s health. Concerns regarding environment by respected REACH provisions.
