1)      Please provide the most interesting example of technical / smart textiles that you have.

Name of product: Pullover Q503

A special success was provided by the men’s pullover Q503, manufactured out of 100% Aralon fastened Nm34/1 yarn type cotton. The knitting was performed on a Shima Seiki machine of finesses /4 with half Milano structure, it has a low pilling, increased resistance and increased thermal comfort. Nevertheless, low manufacturing costs due to intarsia technique, represent a relevant aspect.

 

2)      How did you promote or put your product on the market?

The product was first time presented at Zoom fair by Fatex Paris, 16-20.09.2013, and selected by company TOPMAN, an important name on the knitting market for men.

A number of approximately 10.000 products were manufactured, in various coloristic combinations.

Afterwards, variations upon this product were presented at Fashion SUP London.

 

3)      What requirements do you customers most request? (EC Certifications, washing etc.)

Commercial aspect, coping with modern tendencies. Correlation between optimum yarn consumption and cost-effective manufacturing.

 

4)      Do you agree in sharing some of these experiences for educational purposes?

Yes.
